I ran tonight because there is a 5k in the morning. I've been running a lot so I would have thought I could be pretty fast. But as I read my blog here I realized I was quite a bit faster 2 years ago.
My goal for tomorrow is under 7:30 pace. If I can do 7:20 pace, my time will be under 23 minutes. That's a good goal and one that will push me. I'm not quite to that speed yet. 2 years ago I did 7:11 pace at this time of year. So I have some work to do to get back in that kind of shape. Still, I feel good and am happy with my progress. I had a baby 10 months ago and feel fairly fit. So I will shoot for 7:20 pace in the morning. Here goes! I'll report later!
